Hares: Blow Heart & Cutie Pie
|
A new design of HHH signs indicating the ON-ON was the opening challenge of run # 94. It was to be the first of many. We had a good turnout: 3 runners, 7 walkers, 5 ankle-biters and a dog. After some pointless explanations of flour on trees, multiple checks and the warning of one very long check-back the pack was off. Blow Heart and Cutie Pie had use the length and breath of the Foret de Bouconne to set their trail and had indeed used a great number of Checks and Check-Backs (false trails) to slow the FRBs down. As it happened Rocket Pants was to be the only FRB around and he dutifully launched himself down several false trails and had to be called back a few times as he missed false trail indicators and happily continued in unknown directions. The beer-check was at Cutie Pie's recently occupied new bungalow on the edge of the forest and this is where the walkers threw in the towel and convinced the hares that the On-In should relocated. Unfortunately the runners had already left and were following a sparsely marked trail which was to be to the left and then straight on Yeah, right! The assistance of the running hare was required to find the trail back and after 1 hour 45 mins we arrived at the official On-In. All Hashers regrouped at Cutie Pie’s house and after a few refreshments The Circle was called but due to lack of GM, RA or any other high-ranking HHH Management, Quicksand was obliged to take The Circle. First item was the vote for the Hares and there appeared to be three hares as (don’t mention her Hash-name) had been assistant-Hare for the walkers trail. Both runners and walkers showed appreciation for the trail, but Blow Heart was called back for another Down-Down because of calling On-On while being a Hare and for setting one very, very long Check-Back (ask Rocket Pants). There were no New Boots but we had two Returners: Up All Night and Quicksand. Furthermore an inspection of Hash attire showed Tools and Hooters to have no Hash gear on despite Hooters claim that the loads of it at home! A Down-Down for them also. As no musical/acting talent was
available, the Hash hymn was not performed and after Lapdancer's
announcement of an AGM at his new abode in October, Run # 94 was
closed. Spare scribe and Hash Tool Quicksand |
